"WORKING FACES of NEW YORK CITY" a MISGUIDED PRODUCTIONS DOCUMENTARY

Posted on Apr 30, 2007

"Working Faces of New York City", a Documentary; is being filmed throughout the five boroughs. It depicts the diversity of the white and blue collar working classes of New York City, and the extraordinary multicultural intermingling of people working together in the Big Apple. These "Working Faces of New York City" all get along, interacting at all levels in society, all with a common interest...earning an honest living. Whether it is working a blue collar job or white collar job, people find intercultural cooperation among the vast enterprises in which they work. It would not surprise me if there was life on another planet, they would also choose New York City as a place to work as well; as it is amazingly diverse and robust with cultural liveliness.

The people working in the blue collar sector; as Taxi Cab drivers, Restaurant Servers, Bus Boy's, Bell Hops, Pretzel Vendor, Maid, Trash Collector, Stock person at a Supermarket or a Cashier at 7 - 11 all catering to other people. Some of these workers are employed in places where they cannot afford the luxury of the same type of services themselves, however; they generously provide them to others.

The streets of New York City are flooded with people and diversity. The "Working Faces of New York City" are Black, White, Yellow, Interracial, Chinese, English, Hispanic, Greek, Russian, Japanese, Italian, White collar, Blue Collar, Catholic, Jewish, Protestant, Atheist, Baptist; some of them are heading home from work, some are going to work, some are staying home. Some of these people are old, some are young, some work in a hotel and live in Harlem, some work on Wall Street and live on Manhattan's Upper East Side, some of these people are wealthy, some of them are not, some rent the place they stay, some own the place they live. These are the extraordinary "Working Faces of New York City", diverse, colorful, and magical, like an artist's palette.
